Nevada directory

Nevada official directory

We'll help you find the correct official place in Nevada. You do not need to understand court terminology. A missing search does not mean there is no case or that someone is not in jail.

Nevada coverage is limited. Recorded directory links and guidance appear when supported. A missing search button does not mean there is no case or that someone is not in jail. CaseGo has not searched a person’s record.

The NDOC inmate search page shows an offender-ID field or a first-name and last-name search, with a wildcard percent sign and a Submit button. It says the data is raw, not error-free, and should not be used as an official record. Questions about an inmate go to Family Services at (775) 977-5707. The page does not say whether county jail is included, so this is not a jail locator. No name or offender ID was submitted. No captcha text was on the fetched form.

Victims must keep their address current. After a sentence to NDOC, a victim may use a request form from the prosecuting agency or a written request. The Nevada judiciary find-a-court address did not load. Curl and the browser both received HTTP 403 and a challenge page. Court lists, case-search links, and whether justice, district, and municipal courts use separate systems were not observed. NRS 178.502, which did load, says a bail bond can extend to a justice court, municipal court, or district court proceeding. That statute shows those court levels exist in Nevada law. It is not a directory and not a case search. This blocked page is not proof that a court directory does not exist.

The Legislature's NRS Chapter 178 page is marked Rev. 4/15/2026. NRS 178.4851 says that, except as provided in subsection 4, the court shall only impose bail or a condition of release, or both, as the least restrictive means necessary to protect the safety of the community or to ensure appearance, considering NRS 178.4853 and 178.498. If the prosecutor requests bail, the prosecutor must prove by clear and convincing evidence that bail is necessary for safety or appearance. If the court imposes bail or any condition other than release on recognizance with no other conditions, it must make findings and state its reasoning on the record. Subsection 4 is about bail in a first-degree murder arrest. NRS 178.4853 lists minimum custody-review factors, including residence, employment, family ties, prior record of appearance, the charge as it relates to nonappearance, and danger. The statute does not set a dollar amount. No case outcome was predicted.
