Documents filed before that date stay on courthouse public-access terminals. The live Case.net welcome and name-search URLs returned HTTP 403 or only the site's anti-scraping notice to the clients used here. The search form, case-type checkboxes, and court menu were not observed. Municipal participation was not established. Do not treat a blocked page as proof that no search exists.

A Department of Corrections notice says background checks for visitors are being updated. A new application is required before October 1, 2026 if the person was under 18 at the last application and is now 18 or older, or if an adult's last approval was before October 1, 2023. Starting October 1, 2026, visitors need a new application when an approval is three years old or when they turn 18. The notice links an application at https://web.mo.gov/doc/pubVisit/appStart.do. That application was not opened. Questions about application status go to the facility. Rechecked 2026-10-07: the notice still applies to a resident of a Missouri Department of Corrections facility and does not describe county-jail visiting. The linked address list at https://doc.mo.gov/facilities/adult-institutions/address-listing returned HTTP 200 and named adult institutions including Algoa, Boonville, Chillicothe, Crossroads, and Jefferson City Correctional Centers with street or highway addresses. Individual phone numbers were not copied into product copy.

The Revisor page for section 544.455 was readable on 2026-10-01. It is marked effective 28 Aug 2013, with histories through 2013. It says a person charged with a bailable offense may be released on personal recognizance unless the judge determines that will not reasonably assure appearance. The judge may then add listed conditions, including supervision, limits on travel or residence, a bail bond or cash deposit, reporting, a percent deposit the judge directs, or house arrest with electronic monitoring. Electronic-monitoring costs are charged to the person unless the judge finds the person unable to pay and the county commission agrees to pay. If neither pays, the judge shall not order that monitoring. A circuit court may adopt a local rule for electronic monitoring in lieu of incarceration for offenses the local rule identifies. The page does not set a dollar amount. Supreme Court Rule 33.01 was not read. This statute is not that rule and it is not Michigan or Minnesota law.

Section 544.453 was readable on the Revisor site. It is marked effective 28 Aug 2023. When setting bail or release conditions, a judge must consider, in addition to any factor required by law, danger to a victim, the community, a witness, or any other person; flight risk; a listed misdemeanor or felony in the last five years; and a listed failure to appear in the last three years. It does not state an amount and it does not say how those factors must be weighed. It says it applies notwithstanding any contrary law or court rule. The text of Supreme Court Rule 33.01 was still not read.
