The department home page says it is a unified system. All correctional facilities and institutions are under the State. Level V is 24-hour incarceration, and the page says jail describes offenders serving one year or less. Level IV is work release, home confinement, residential drug treatment, and violation-of-probation centers. Levels III through I are probation supervision. The page does not describe a county-operated jail. A county name does not select a different custody system.
- Not a county-jail roster
- Not a person locator by itself
- Does not say whether a police holding cell before DOC intake is included
